Hi I have been looming about his site for a while. I have found that my debts are just too much. I don't think I will be able to make the minimum payments this month. I recently lost my well paid job and although I thought I had a handle on my spending I didn't. I just kept spending at the same rate as I used to but with now a much smaller income and things have now got out of hand. I don't know how I will get through this Christmas, I haven't got the kids presents yet and I am supposed to have the in-laws over for Christmas dinner :(.

Really feeling down and need some help.

Morning shopaholic and welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear about losing your job. I got myself into lots of financial problems through uncontrollable spending but now I have sort myself out through an IVA.

I you want help then I would suggest completing an SOA so that the experts on the forum can assess your finances and offer suggestions. I have included the link for the SOA.

Thanks Conwyman. I am struggling with my SOA. Every time I sit down to do it I just think what a fool I am and I never get it done.

I have been following your thread and hope you get your debts sorted out. I wish I had the bottle to start up my own business.

Good luck

Its hard when you are in business because it takes to build a customer base but anyone can do it
i have put in about £10.000 over the years but my ex partner messed my income up with her debts i just think postive and keep pulling in new customers then i might be in a postion in a couple of years to pay my debts off. just start a business part-time and build it up

Thanks for that conwyman. I have been looking at doing affiliate marketing. Everything I read about says that I should find a niche, but I just can't seem to think straight. I suppose its difficult with all this debt! I hope your getting things sorted out.
