Joined: 20 Jan 2012 Posts: 1 | hi hope someone can h me? i recieved a letter 3 days before xmas from debt company called equidebt acting on behalf of kaptiv capitol stating i owe 4808 pounds! i was hell of a shock so i checked my credit file and found nothing so decided to ignore it. got another letter yesterday from equidebt8 stating if i pay in full or start a payment plan then the 4808pound will be reduced between 3800 and 900? the only thing i can think what this for is when i was with my ex wife she had a car loan but that was 10yrs ago last month we split in sept 2002! there was a thing on my creditfile few years later which stated my ex had defaulted which might have been car loan then few years later it said satified! can someone give me any advice please?thanks for reading! |
