Joined: 24 Jan 2012 Posts: 1 | I recieved a visit from wakefiel council debt team, stateing i owe £600 rent from may to july 2005, however i gave the key back in april 2005 and moved to spain. they insist i pay despite having no contact with me for the 5 years i have been back. i say no it must be a clerical error on their part, but proving this is difficult, can i give them the 6 year law as it has been almost 7 years, Anybody know? |
