i am currently under trust deed since last may 08 the problem is that i have been falling behind in payments because my hours have been cut in the job that i am in the trustee wants to extend the trust deed to pay off the arrears but my hours r not going to change if my trustee extends then i will just fall deeper in to arrears what can i do

You can ask the trustee to review your finances. However, the lower dividend may be rejected by the creditors. Obviously the experience of the trustee will come into play and if he feels that the reviewed dividend is too low he'll just reject this and start bankruptcy proceedings. Unless you are intending a career in the financial sector then bankruptcy should be relatively painless and easy.

i have seen my trustee they are going to resign from the trust deed they have told once they have resigned then i have to go to citizens advice and ask them how i go about making myself bankrupt the only problem is raising the money to do this as my outgoings are more than my wages and that does not include the trust deed
