Joined: 29 Jan 2012 Posts: 1 | Hello I need help please, a house i bought late eighties could not pay the mortgage the bank repossed and sold it.They wrote that they had a short fall of around £23000 which i can not remember now, that was claimed after 5 or 6 years around 1995/96.They took me to court ccj entered on me and made me to pay around £15 per month through my earning from the company.Within a year company gave me redundancy in the of year 2000.Since then i am unemployed for last 11year i never had any correspondence with this bank since then.The money was not paid since i left the job and there were no demand at all all these years.Just about after 11 years they traced my place and demanding i should pay Around £50000.00 and wanted to contact them.I am now getting 60yrs old it is worrying me.I am on my own no family. Could you please help me what to do. Thank you |
