I don't want to talk to them because they confuse me and I end up agreeing to things that I cant afford...hense why I'm in this situation...what should I do next? |

With respect to your debt, it is understandable that you don't want to talk to the credit company. However, resolution of your debt requires the DC to agree repayment terms. If they are not willing to agree anything with you until they actually speak to them, it will be difficult to get any form of agreement. There are agencies like CAB and local authority consumer and debt advice which which may help you. However, as you can imagine , they are overstretched and may see your debt as a low priority. What I suggest is speak to the DC, do not agree to anything on the phone but ask for confirmation in writing. This way you can get advice from either ourselves, a friend or member of your family on what to do next. George |
