Joined: 28 Oct 2008 Posts: 4 | I am debt to the sum of around £12,000 and I owe to 9 creditors. I am just about managing to pay the repayments but my genral living expenses are minimal and I am finding it increasingly difficult to make ends meet, what with bills keep going up. I am not enough debt to get an IVA, I cannot afford to go bankrupt, I don't really want to go bankrupt as I might loose some of my possesions which are important to me. I have negociated repayments with some of my creditors but still keep getting hassled by others to pay more, which I simply don't have. I am now on Incapacity Benefit plus a small works pension. I haven't worked for 2 years. My debts have caused depression and I need to know what help, if any I can get. |

Could you also give the type of possessions you may fear you'll lose as a result of bankruptcy. Many people have the wrong idea about what can and can't be taken in bankruptcy. Cheers P |

I need these for contacting people and although they don't belong to me I can't prove that. (They were loaned to me by my ex wife). I also have the usual things liek TV, DVD. Freeview box, Hi-Fi and although I would not like to lose these, I could live without them but not my computer. |

There is a heading saying that I should have at least 10 points to make my profile visable. Regards Arnie418 |
