Joined: 11 Jan 2012 Posts: 2 | Please help!!! I was made bankrupt in February 2010 but months later I am still being contacted by creditors, on a daily basis, using a variety of methods. I receive text messages, phone calls to home and mobile and more rarely letters. Since becoming bankrupt I found it difficult to find a private landlord to rent to me and this constant harassment makes me anxious I might lose my home. The bankruptcy itself caused the loss of my mortgaged home but I thought the worst was behind me.Now I'm not so sure....... I have written to companies where I can; specifically those that supply me with an address. and demanded they stop contact and sent them a copy of the bankruptcy order. However the contacts coming, indeed they are e frequent and the list of debt collecting companies that are in touch grows greater. I am at my wits end. Please advise if there is any way I can fight back???? |

I don't know how to stop them I have written to those that have written to me and threatened them with complaining to a higher authority, a bluff on my part obviously, I have even sent them a copy of the bankruptcy order. Nothing works! It's still a living hell! Any advice would be sooo appreciated! |
