Please help!!! I was made bankrupt in February 2010 but months later I am still being contacted by creditors, on a daily basis, using a variety of methods. I receive text messages, phone calls to home and mobile and more rarely letters. Since becoming bankrupt I found it difficult to find a private landlord to rent to me and this constant harassment makes me anxious I might lose my home. The bankruptcy itself caused the loss of my mortgaged home but I thought the worst was behind me.Now I'm not so sure....... I have written to companies where I can; specifically those that supply me with an address. and demanded they stop contact and sent them a copy of the bankruptcy order. However the contacts coming, indeed they are e frequent and the list of debt collecting companies that are in touch grows greater.

I am at my wits end. Please advise if there is any way I can fight back????

You can surely fight back to them by filing bankruptcy.Filing bankruptcy is a best legal way to come out of all these situations and get some relief from it.once you file the bankruptcy creditors are not bale to even contact you.File bankruptcy with the help of a bankruptcy attorney. They will help and guide you till the bankruptcy process is resolved

I was made bankrupt on 2 February 2010! They have followed me to two different addresses. They text and call every single day. I don't know how to stop them I have written to those that have written to me and threatened them with complaining to a higher authority, a bluff on my part obviously, I have even sent them a copy of the bankruptcy order.

Nothing works! It's still a living hell! Any advice would be sooo appreciated!

Have you spoke to your official reciever?
