The only problem that I have is that the property was sold around a year later and my solicitor organised everything re a settlement figure and then gave me what ever was left once the mortgage had been settled. Can they do this as Iam sure that they cannot anyone please help?? Thanks Jules |

Your solicitor would have written to your mortgage company and ask for the settlement figure and you would have settled accordingly. |

It looks like they are either fishing or have not communicated properly with the mortgage company and this is the result. Quite common by wescott i'm afraid. |
