They, as a company, are as far from legit and legal as you could or ever would expect. They not only take your first three or four months payment as an 'Acceptance Fee' which they use for 'Setting Up' your account... But they seem to 'forget' to make payments to ANY creditors. Since June 2009 they have been spinning off lines such as "We have a major BACS issue at the moment" ..... "Our Banking system has been changed" ..... "The banking system is 'Down' " ...... Or the even more believable "We have sent the money but you returned it to us!!" Not only have they got away with not paying clients creditors, but in October of 2009, they introduced a new plan, which they take £100 - £200 off a client, to make sure they are spending the right amount of money on their bills and outgoings (Correct me if I am wrong, but, shouldn't this have been done on the initial 'sales' call whilst completing the Clients 'Income & Expenditure'?).. So, they take this £100-£200 and pay an external company to 'check' and see if they can save the client money.. The thing is, Chase Saunders DO NOT save any of the clients money, they simply take their clients cash, and bang it into a third business account! Nice eh? I can only guess, that then they sell the data onto third parties (MAKING EVEN MORE MONEY).... What was the question again? CHASE SAUNDERS, DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THESE ARE A GOOD AND SAFE COMPANY TO USE? Erm, In a word... NO! |

Contact the local Trading Standards office to their trading address and although they will not give you straight information their tone of voice and constructive use of language will confirm my comments. Do not touch them!!!! |

I've been completely robbed by them and so have many other people...just google 'chase saunders reviews' if you need further confirmation. They have de frauded me at the very time when I was most vulnerable. If you go onto the OFT public register you will find against their license - 'minded to revoke'. Go and check. This cowboy outfit is unscrupulous and untrustworthy. They actually make me sick to the stomach and I want my money back. Other financial institutions are advising me to take legal action (including my bank)!! If you are in trouble financially, you will get better results by putting your money on the gee-gees than risking it with Chase SCAMMERS!!! Seriously though, give National Debt line a call, they are free and WILL help you. Chase Saunders are merely sweet talking you out of your money when you need it the most!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! :o( |

They are taking money and not paying creditors. Debt management is not regulated until next year so if you want to take it further call or write to the OFT, office of fair trading, rumour around the company is that money is being used to fund other business, probably true as the reception was corporate aquisitions (corpaq), whatever you do do not give your money to this company. I left because have years experience in this field and do not want to be associated. They had a company in the building who did IVA's for them, they left and moved in B and E on Lloyd St in Mcr, but first thing they did was change their name, Mmmm I wonder why. the directors are a couple of thieves, W.K, wait till regulation then pay Ian back when your company is finished. Oh and the saving money thing was the financial health check, they'll save you money on insurance which you need be licensed to advise on, chase are not licensed to give this advise, creditor liason were instructed to tell creditors they would a recieve reduced payments via telephone not in writing as their sale was illegal, Tut tut tut |

When I was there I thought that the people who ran it were just useless at there jobs, and had no experience and I then got the message that they were just taking peoples money and paying there bills and not paying the creditors, the directors are drining expensive sports cars, they should be in prison and please god one day they will be. |

However after reading this forum I have pulled out completely as they have acted very poorly and nearly cost me everything. Everytime I ring I get fobbed off with some excuse or another. They talk a good talk. I have had 3 different case managers since I joined and can see why after reading ex employees comments. The latest was last week and was told when I rang today that my 'new' case manager would contact me in a few weeks. ( by the time they do this there might be another different one) Thanks to everyone who has opened my eyes to this. |

I recently left the company because you didn't know whether you were coming or going. The employees are treated dis-respectfully. They are told to say there is a BACS issue and it will be sorted out next month but it never is. They recently changed their name to intouch so be careful and they moved the sales part of the company to Altrincham I am led to believe. The administration is still in the city centre. The people who work there are brilliant people with so many skills but they are led to believe the company is not going under unfortunately they will do eventually just as and when because of the way the directors like to spend their money. I regret ever taking a job with the company and I hope to God no one goes to this company for help because all they will do is take your money and give excuses as to why they have not paid your creditors. BE CAREFUL YOU ARE TREADING ON EGGSHELLS IF YOU GO WITH THEM. |

The recorded message suggests another number but that one just keeps you on hold forever. I emailed adminteam@chasesaunders.co.uk and somebody called Evonne emailed back very quickly telling me their address was the same but the number had now changed to: 0800 228 9228. I have cancelled my standing order to them, I'm not paying anymore, especially if they have gone under but are pretending that everything is ok to innocent people like me. All very suspicious. Not sure what to do now? Find another Insolvency Practitioner? Or do I need a Solicitor?? Very worried, Hackney. |

Rather than asking someone to go to another website and use a debt management company which may be in a similar position to DS I think you should be encouraging people to deal with their own debts themselves rather than paying a company a very large fee to do it for them. |
