Can anyone help ? i have £26,000 on three cards (mint, egg & mbna plat) i was considering an IVA as it is becoming harder and harder to make the payments .I am also missing payments and trying to catch up. whilst trying to find out more about IVA i heard of a company who claim to be able to write off my cc debts and remove my bad credit history. Is this possible? they say you dont have to enter an IVA or bankcrupcy. please help, as i dont want to enter into something that could be a scam

Leegelder, there is no way you can change factually correct credit reports. For a company to be promising this you have to question their business practices and avoid with a very large barge pole.

There are no magical ways out of debt ways out of debt. Debt consolidation, debt management, and insolvency are the only ways out of debt. Read this Statement of Affairs and post your SOA here and we will try and help you without trying to scam you.

Cheers

P

thanks for your help it is really helpfull i have been back on to there website and they have told me this is a matter of law and ethics.they also claim they are the first in the uk and can give me names of satisfied customers. they also gaurantee my money back if my credit history is not clear in 21 days.they also say that , i will not be pursude for the outstanding debt . it is really tempting to give it a try because with a money back gaurantee it must be worth a go

Leegelder, welcome to the forum.

Paladin is right don't touch them with a barge pole or the proverbial stick!! The chances are that they may find a fault with your credit record and will rectify it. They will then claim that they have done a chargeable service and consequently not refund your money. Should they not find any problems how easy do you think it will be to get your money back!!! You'll end up out of pocket.

What's the url of the website. I'll take a look at it. Don't do anything until we examine this website.

Oh my word. "We need a longer barge pole” The website has been cobbled together; my daughter (4) could have done a better site. The lack of professionalism in the site is also mirrored in its content, there isn't any!

So, amateur website, no content what are they really selling. Why are there no T&C's? Why do they not explain what this magical procedure is? Borrowing money means you are locked into a financial contract. If the contract is solid then there is no way out, except through negotiation or by insolvency.

There are no easy ways out of debt.

Totally agree with George. Why don't they just tell you on their website what their process is. It's a sales gimmick; they want to get you on the phone and sell sell sell. My guess, they'll buy your house and rent it back or something like that.

Leegelder, why not do an SOA and we'll take a look at it.

in reply to paladin and George. through curiosity i looked at the site and also contacted them. I am not hear to sell anything for them or to promote them in anyway. but i find it amazing that you can make off the cuff remarks like you will have to sell your house and renting it back. when nowhere do they say that and the lack of content on the website.if they just announced there method with the banking system . which they did to me, they wouldn`t be in business for long. I repeat I am not validating this company in any way as I haven't used them so I would be crazy to endorse them. it seems to me these forums are infested with people who think they know everything about everything but still managed to get themselves in £50,000 pounds worth of debt.I know buy this line there will be smoke coming off your keyboard to rubbish me in your reply.but just open your eyes and your mind have a look and if, with a bit of research you think its a scam or trickery. tell the world! but be a man and have some evidence to come back with and stop hiding behind your keyboard in your bedroom

I have an experian account and i am blown away that what they said seems to be happening. It seems to me they are getting some unfair press My mother is also using them and she is 2 weeks into her case.

If you have looked the site then you'll know what I am talking about. The site has grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. No mention of what their service actually is and how they can do what they boast. No business details, no contact address or anything. So i still stand by what i said.

You don't get any free links here. Beef up your website, content is king and don't make unsubstantiated claims. Most importantly this forum is for genuine users who need help with their debt and not for those who are trying to mislead people by making up false posts just to push their website!

Re-read my posts. Can you explain how your company can help people with debt problems other than through the conventional routes mentioned above.
