Joined: 08 Mar 2009 Posts: 1 | Lots of new companies have sprung up in the last 12 months claiming they can wipe out debt by checking the oridginal agreements. UNFAIR CREDIT DIRECT being ome of them, has anyone had dealings with this firm please. |

Joined: 24 Apr 2009 Posts: 1 | its not whethere the agreement are right or wrong.most people are scared to take on the big companies ie nationwide or mbna.the new legislation since 2007 basically means that these big companies should not have lent you an amount that you could not afford to pay back. when you took out your last credit card or loan did they ask you how much you owed to other companies or ask you how much rent you pay etc no.thats what the new legistlation is there for. my debts £10000 nationwide cc.my original agreement when i started it in 2003,my limit was £2200 i paid on time every month,every 6 months they increadsed it until it got to the above,i didn't sign a new agreement every 6 months,but yes i spent it. i think you understand. im now in £20,000 debt and none of them new about the other debt. as long as you have credit cards it will work.it wont work with loans unless it has been passed on to a debt collection agency. overdrfts you have to pay yourself because its not included. you choose what company you want to go with,but watch the fees and the small print,if they offer a dmp if agreement are forsable,run a mile. my history iva failed 2007 dmp 9 years to pay inc management fees or cccs 6 yrs 4 mths debt now £1700 od £50 a week. hope this helps someone! |
