Joined: 01 Mar 2008 Posts: 1 | i was sequestrated in july 2004,i had to sell our family home to pay the debt off,my trustee has put a charge of 15000 per annum on my account as i had no idea i could complain i just thought this was the right charge,i have now received another charge of almost 6000 from him,so this has eaten 36000 of my house profit(he still has hold of my money) i was automatically dscharged on may 11th 2007 i did not know about a section 53 where i could ask him to provide the accounts via the sheriff courts,i have now raised a section 53 in the local court, today i received quite a threatening letter from him informing me that he will sue me for costs,so my question is how do i find out what the average charge is for a trustee in sequestration and who is the governing body of the charges, because if i had not made a profit on my house sale, how would i be able to pay the trustee, sorry long question, but i am really sick of his nasty letters which always arrive late on a friday and i worry all weekend. |
