I am also told that as my debts are English I cannot go bankrupt in France! My only recourse is bankruptcy but it seems impossible for me. I have no assets at all and even the house in which I live is owned solely by my partner. Please can anyone help me? My creditors are threatening all sorts of things! |

You can apply for bankruptcy back in England in person, if you have been living abroad for less than three years. There are a few agencies which do this service for you, but it will cost you. I have asked a friend of mine to have a look at your options and he will report back. In essence there is precious little creditors can do if you don't have any assets. George |

My creditors are threatening to send debt collectors to my home. Barclaycard have employed Mercers. They are threatening legal action. I simply don't have the money which is why I tried bankruptcy. I shall be interested to hear if your friend can help with this. Again, thank you so much I am really grateful to you. Rainbow |
