   Creditors still trying to collect debts after bankruptcy

Hi please could someone tell me why creditors are persuing debts after being made bankrupt. It wasnt the easy option togo bankrupt for me, but I made the choise because they was no real way of paying my debts which I did until I lost my job.....

Get a copy of your discharge notice and send it off to all the creditors who are chasing you. You debts were probably sold off but the note of your bankruptcy may have been "lost".

Hopefully this should sort things out. If a company still chases your for a debt then complain to your local Trading Standards Dept and the OFT.
